Anthony Wright began serving as Mayor in 2026 and is serving his first term as the Mayor of Enumclaw. As Mayor, Anthony is the executive leader who develops the vision and implements the strategies for Enumclaw. He oversees nine departments, which consists of Department Directors overseeing City Administration, Community Development, Finance, Information Technology, Municipal Court, Parks and Recreation, Police, Senior Center and Public Works with over 120 employees. The Mayor collaborates with the seven City Council Members to set policies for the City of Enumclaw.
As Mayor he collaborates in developing the city’s $65 million annual operating and capital projects budgets with key city staff and city council members. Bringing a balance to the needs of the city in everyday services.
Before serving as Mayor, Anthony was appointed on the Enumclaw City Council in 2018 and was continuously re-elected to his Council Position since 2019.
