Enumclaw court room

Enumclaw Municipal Court is holding in person and virtual hearings until further notice. The Zoom hearings will be held via Zoom App (please see below for help with joining the Zoom Hearing). You will receive a notification in the mail with your virtual court date along with instructions on how to access your virtual court date. The staff is available at the court office and by phone Monday-Friday 9 AM to 5 PM. If you have any questions or need to speak with someone in the court you may also email the court at court@ci.enumclaw.wa.us or call 360-825-7771.

Please remember to dress and behave appropriately for court on the Zoom app.

Virtual Hearing Instructions

The court has exclusive original jurisdiction over all criminal misdemeanors and gross misdemeanors, traffic infractions and parking violations arising under state statutes and city ordinances.

Municipal Court Jurisdictions

The judge is the principal officer of the court and has the authority to render findings and lawful judgments in all cases. The Municipal Court is a court of limited jurisdiction which hears cases involving violations, including, but not limited to:

  • Criminal misdemeanor
  • Criminal traffic
  • Gross misdemeanor charges
    • Assault
    • Domestic violence offenses
    • Drug offenses
    • Theft
  • Parking violations that occur in the City of Enumclaw
  • Traffic infractions

The Municipal Court does not file small claims or civil cases, protection or restraining orders.
