Kerry Flothe

Councilmember Flothe currently holds Position No. 2 on the City Council.

  • Elected: January 1, 2024
  • Term Expires: December 31, 2027

Flothe won election to the Enumclaw City Council in 2023. She chose to run for office to preserve the safety of Enumclaw for all citizens, to maintain safety and accessibility to community parks, and to provide support to our city's thriving small business community. She is currently serving her first term and is excited to get to work - currently serving on the Public Safety and Finance Committees.

As a licensed mental health counselor holding a master's degree in counseling psychology. Flothe's career has been focused in healthcare and mental health, working in various positions as a crisis mental health counselor and currently as a hospital case manager and a telehealth therapist with a small therapy practice.

She and her husband, Jared, have made their home in Enumclaw, where they are raising their two young sons. The oldest son is attending public elementary school in Enumclaw and participating in local sports programs and her youngest son isn't far behind. She loves being active and outdoors with her family, cooking meals alongside her husband, and traveling. She has been to many destinations in the US and abroad, and looks forward to passing the travel bug onto her kids. She is a proud Washington State University grad and enjoys spending Saturdays in the fall baking with her sons and watching Cougar football.
