Gallery 2017 - Lisa Parsons

LisaParsons.jpg

Come meet Lisa Parsons and see her new exhibit of photographs of the Green River Gorge.  She’ll be sharing stories about her hike through the entire twelve mile long Green River Gorge this past year.  She swam through slow river pools filled with salmon, hiked along the cliffs above the river, and boulder hopped along the river’s edge.  She explored high and low, photo and video documenting her journey as she went.  She brings those images to a photography exhibit at Gallery 2017 in Enumclaw during the month of February and will share additional images during her talk.

The exhibit and presentation is a part of a larger project to document the Green River Gorge, the stories of people connected to the river and the conservation efforts that kept it available for locals to enjoy for generations.

Here is an article about her journey by the Washington State Parks Foundation which has supported her journey to raise awareness about this amazing State Park between Black Diamond and Enumclaw.
